First of all, yes wow haha.
Second, I had a lot of respect for memphis until the continued comments in the media from penny.
Third, but seriously, after this year, I don’t know what kind of team we’re going to have next year. We will hopefully hold the advantage in the next couple of years. But, what are our prospects looking like without admiral, alexander and potentially williams?
Josiah James is our third-highest-rated recruit of the internet era behind Tobias and Scotty Hopson. The 7’0″ kid coming in better be Anthony Davis if Memphis is going to beat us in Knoxville next year.
Penny actually has a great recruiting class lined up with 3 top 50 guys. Think Calipari era. Penny took a huge step back with the “F*** Tennessee and Barnes” comment picked up on a hot mike, Memphis flopped and it worked for a while. Bone got a foul on the 3FG when Harris kicked out his legs; Harris looked like he’d been shot a couple of times when the replay showed absolutely no contact; Grant got a charging foul at half court with the call made by a screened out baseline official.
